Sporting fans need to keep the faith going

Nick Nolan’s letter (Irish Examiner, August 28) is so true and definitely hits the hot spot. Just to quote his last paragraph.

“As a Corkman, the Rebels will always be my first love. But as a believer in hopeless causes, Coventry city, will always be the soccer team that claims my undying loyalty”

With me replace--a Corkman with a Kerryman, the Rebels with the Kingdom, and Coventry city with Crystal Palace.

Keep the faith Nick, the wheel will turn in time (maybe not in our lifetime )but there is always hope for Coventry city.
