Irish Water hire outside consultants once again
Normally it is administration within the company that would be interested in getting customer complaints first hand and dealing with them appropriately.
It is a joke that an outside company should be employed to bribe the public to pay their bills on time, with the promise of paying €1 on their behalf to charity.
The additional, borrowings already sanctioned by Environment Minister Alan Kelly, brings the cost of establishing Irish Water up to €850m.
I think Eurostat were right by insisting costs go on to the public accounts bill.
Only then, will the Government realise what’s really happening behind the scenes.
Furthermore take heed dear leaders, if you want to sell off our water resources.
More than 180 cities and communities in 35 countries, including Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg in Germany, have redeemed control of their water services from private operators in the past 15 years.
