A junior minister needs a driver he can chat to

I never met Junior Minister for European Affairs and Data Protection and Cork North Central TD, Dara Murphy.

I do however believe Deputy Murphy has a “right” to appoint drivers of his choice.

His duties and responsibilities require considerable travel. It is appropriate he has a driver with whom he is “comfortable”. Should that driver be capable of engaging in political discussions all the better for the Minister.
