Cork GAA did not deserve RTÉ abuse

I left home on Sunday morning last week at 10.15am to go to Semple Stadium to help out as a voluntary steward at the triple header hurling games at the venue.

Cork GAA did not deserve RTÉ abuse

Following three entertaining games I returned home shortly after 7.30pm, having had a meal compliments of Semple Stadium management, looking forward to watching the Sunday Game. The presentation was of a high standard and the analysis of the games was in keeping with what we have come to expect.

But the section of the programme that went into an in-depth analysis on the plight of hurling in Cork was distasteful and inaccurate. Also, in keeping with what we have come to expect from RTÉ, they appear to have a policy of castigating everything good about Irish life.
