Just don’t do the Lotto

The politicians who are declaring that the Lotto changes should be reversed are pathetic. They should be advising people not to participate.

Participating in a Lotto that gives you an 11 million to one chance of winning is not a good idea.

Before the change participating gave you an eight million to one chance of winning. It was not a good idea either.

There are more pressing problems in this country than complaining about people who voluntarily do the equivalent of backing horses at these odds.
