No need for patient IDs

The proposal to create unique patient identity numbers for everyone who engages with health services, either public or private, seems like another great idea to squander our money. Our PPS numbers are already unique identifiers.

What is the point of a duplicate system?

This is just another example of our administration implementing an expensive solution to a simple issue.
