IPSC takes issue with Israeli state, and that’s all

Kevin McCarthy again makes unfounded allegations against the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) (Irish Examiner, Letters, July 30).

IPSC takes issue with Israeli state, and that’s all

He alleges that “time and again” the IPSC has sought to prevent “cultural or social engagement” with Israelis. This is untrue. The IPSC campaigns for people in cultural, academic and sporting disciplines to boycott events or exchanges that are sponsored by the Israeli state, or take place within that state. Nothing more.

Mr McCarthy also makes allegations that he was told his safety would be at risk were he to attend the screening of The Lab in Limerick.
