Staff at Dublin stations are to be commended

Yesterday I arrived at Pearse station to board a train to Wexford. Due to a security alert on the line between Connolly and Pearse stations, the train was held up.
What appeared to be a substitute train appeared and as I had gone for a refreshment at the station shop, I had to rush to get on the train and did not realise that that some items of mine were left on a seat on the platform.
I alighted from the train at Dun Laoghaire with the intention of returning to Pearse. However, at Dun Laoghaire ticket office, a helpful member of staff contacted Pearse Station and arranged for the items to be brought out to me by the next train. I then continued on my journey. The company should be proud of their staff at both stations. I certainly am.
