The light is declining in dear old Dublin for us

My wife and I were in Dublin city during the week, after a long absence. It may be a while again before we decide to go there.

And here are just a couple of reasons why —

For one, the heart of the city has gone with the closure of Clerys.

Second, the price of a pint of Guinness was €5 and a glass of Heineken cost €3 ...
