In recent days, Daniel Teegan, Charlie Murphy and Charles Hayes, in the letters page of the Irish Examiner, have articulated their hatred and disdain for the Israeli state and its citizens.

Critics of Israel ignore Islamist attacks in Tunisia

This is the same, aggressive ethos of the anti-Zionist campaign that has pervaded the streets of Ireland over the past year.

Can the IPSC not see the hypocrisy in the timing of this attack on the only democratic state in a Middle East made up of theocratic regimes, as the so-called Islamic State murders innocent people in Tunisia, France and Kuwait?

It is difficult to understand why Hamas’s fellow travellers in death and terror are not similarly criticised by them, particularly as hundreds of thousands of Muslims are being slaughtered by this barbaric force.
