Slaughtered Native American Indians deserve memorial

In his book, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, the late Dee Brown recounts the annihilation of the Native American Indians.

This leads me to conclude that the foundation stones of the United States of America are stained with the blood of its Indian tribes.

The breaking by the US of solemn treaties leaves the reader numb with disbelief.
