324 psychologists call for same-sex marriage

We are an independent group of psychologists in Ireland. Same-sex preference is part of the spectrum of human sexuality and is in no way abnormal or pathological.

Same-sex couples are similar to heterosexual couples, in many regards.

All of the available research shows that children of same-sex couples are similar to children of heterosexual couples. Inequality and discrimination, however, are damaging to mental health.
