Fix the refugee system before we take migrants

I have no problem with accepting a certain number of refugees into Ireland but first things first. We already have a large number of people who came into Ireland and were to be processed under a 90-day system.

Many of them have been here for up to five years and have still not been processed. They are not allowed to work, they are in totally unsuitable accommodation and they, qute understandably, find the whole situation demeaning.

We need to set up a system that can deal, relatively quickly, with those already here. With such a system in place, then take in refugees.
