I am glad there are people out there that are not gagged by ‘political correction’ and are not afraid to speak about commonsense approaches to mass migration to Europe from the third world. I refer to Dr Frank Giles in his letter on (Irish Examiner, April 22).

Cities across Western Europe have been devastated by mass immigration from the third world.

It puts a huge strain on the welfare system. The government never tackles this subject in case it’s branded ‘racist’. We have never had a referendum or national debate on the subject. Will Ireland have to learn the hard way like England, France and Sweden?
