Traditional marriage has served society well

I will be voting no in the referendum on marriage equality for the following reasons: Marriage, as I understand it, has a biological aspect that requires both male and female participation for the natural procreation of children.

Every child born should know their father and mother and share family life with them. Marriage and family life has served society well for centuries.

Gay people, I believe, can solve problems through the Civil Partnership Act without complicating marriage.
