It’s a tall order asking me to believe shortness is linked to heart disease

I take umbrage with the article entitled ‘Drawing a short straw on heart disease’ (Irish Examiner, April 9). Equating shortness with a higher risk of heart disease is too simplistic by far.

Other factors, such as a person’s sex, should have been in the equation.

My three aunts, who were all around the five-foot mark, lived well into their 90s!
