The ‘plain people of Ireland’ still need to be given postal addresses
I phoned the Department about this and a lady said that the postal address was on its website.
This sounds to me like “have horse and you’ll get grass”, as far as Luddites like me are concerned, who do not have a computer.
Even more bizarre, the Department’s address is in the Golden Pages, but not in the ordinary phone directories.
I have an O2 phone directory for 1998 and all the addresses and phone numbers of the Department are in that.
On behalf of what Myles na gCopaleen called “the plain people of Ireland”, I would ask the Department to rectify the above omission in public information.
The closing date for submissions to the CPT review is May 1, 2015, and to those who wish to use the post, I suggest they wrote to the Department of Finance, Merrion Street, Dublin 2.
