Scent of money: Close encounters with Al Pacino

HOLLYWOOD star Al Pacino knows more than most about the Scent of a Woman but he appears to prefer the smell of money nowadays.

The Oscar-winning actor is coming to Dublin to star in An Evening with Al Pacino.

The Hollywood star will be in Dublin on Sunday, May 24.

The event will see Pacino interviewed about his passion for acting and directing, charting his career from off-Broadway in the ’60s up to the present day.

Front-row ticket prices cost €195 but this is nothing compared with anyone seeking a closer encounter with him. A meet and greet package will cost €300 while a dressing room chat will set fans back €2,500.

Fancy a meal with Pacino? That will be €10,416 please.

The seriously well-endowed might fancy taking a trip with the actor — well known for playing mobsters, especially Michael Corleone in The Godfather films and Tony Montana in Scarface - on his private jet. That will cost a mind-boggling €33,746.
