Can Creighton’s party hurl with the big boys?

Of all the people who had been developing the party for over a year, none had thought to secure the Renua Ireland Facebook page. A parody Facebook page was set up by a quick-thinking and quick-witted individual. That page currently has over 10,000 ‘likes’, while the official Renua Ireland Facebook page has less than 1,000. On Drivetime, on Radio 1, later on Friday, poor Terence Flanagan had a meltdown and couldn’t string two words together. Lucinda Creighton’s and Eddie Hobbs’ interview on the Late Late Show that night wasn’t inspiring either.
I admire Creighton for what she has done. Setting up a new party is brave. However, she needs to get her act together or else get off the stage. All I have heard, so far, are platitudes with little substance. She needs to show us the cut of her gib and let us know she can hurl with the big boys.
