I was wryly amused by Daniel Teegan’s vision of a de-Zionised Israel, reintegrated into its neighbouring Arab world.

The Israeli War of Independence, which started in 1948, is a war of liberty with as much right as our independence from the British.

Does he at least watch Al Jazeera in Arabic — which is decidedly different from its English edition? Has Daniel Teegan ever spent even a fortnight in a free Arab country, reading of Arab freedom in Arabic papers?
