We send our two kids to primary school each day with a lovingly assembled lunch box as there is no canteen.

We need to develop a love of food in children

They frequently return home with an unfinished lunch, their excuse being they ‘didn’t have time to eat’. Is this just my progeny?

Or does it say something about the way we teach children to appreciate food? Am I alone?
