We must tread carefully in face of anti-Semitism

In light of the recent resurgence of anti-Semitic sentiment, it is particularly sad to see Daniel Teegan’s disputing of the right/claim of Jews to be in Israel ‘as a myth’.

This is all the more so because he bases his argument on the work of Shlomo Sands, who with Illan Pappe is a historical revisionist of the worst kind.

Sands’ arguments have been discredited by geneticists, anthropologists and historians and to base any argument on his work is irresponsible given the recent wave of anti-Semitism.
