One rule for Jordan, another for Israel

At least Jordan cannot be accused of gender discrimination since one was Sajida al-Rishawi, an Iraqi woman, previously sentenced to death for attempted mass murder.

No doubt world reaction will be relatively muted compared to what might be expected had it been carried out by Israel, which would almost certainly already have led to a call for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Double standards?
