Arts Council should prioritise child literacy

Well done to Suzanne Harrington for drawing our attention to the funding of animal circuses by the Arts Council. 

It’s bad enough, in itself, to be doing this, in my opinion, but in the context of reducing funding for children’s books, it is beyond comprehension.

This is using public largesse to fund animal coercion, rather than child literacy.

Not in my name, either, Suzanne.
