Proposal goes against meaning of marriage

My dictionary tells me that the word marriage is “the ceremony whereby a man and a woman become husband and wife; the union of a man and a woman as husband and wife in matrimony.” There is no other definition anywhere available.

Proposal goes against meaning of marriage

So what is going on in the Department of Justice in regard to a man “marrying” another man? This is some sort of cynical parody of the real meaning of marriage.

The saint popes of the 19th and 20th centuries condemned socialism as ‘unable to do good’ and therefore those who belonged to socialist groups automatically excluded themselves from the “Book of Eternal Life”.

Karl Marx despised the poor but saw in them a useful majority in his plans for universal revolution.

In regard to a sexual union of two persons of the same sex being called “marriage”, which it can never be and is impossible in real terms, it seems to be the Labour Party, who are the tail, are wagging the Dáil dog and the Dáil dog is too willing to respond in kind.

Scripture calls the atheist “a fool”.

Only people who care nothing about Irish children, their future perception of “marriage” and the future welfare of their own children, will vote ‘yes’ to this evil proposal.
