Religion helps make our lives easier

A recent column by Suzanne Harrington stated that religions are like penises, that it’s acceptable to have them but not to think with them.

Of all the headlines and articles I have read in the Irish Examiner, going back a lifetime, this I would consider to be the most disgusting and shameful I have come across.

It’s not a sign of open mindedness, it’s an incitement to hatred.
