Killings of journalists in Paris have wider context

In view of the events of the last few days, with the killing of satirists (and others) in Paris, I watched Prime Time and the interview with an Iman from London. I was very sad to see how that interview was conducted.

I utterly condemn the killings of the satirists in Paris — nothing on Earth justifies this, but I cannot leave it at that.

I am an American; married to an Irishman and have lived in Ireland for 40 years.
