Is he unaware that rail freight from Ballina is making an increasingly significant contribution to Iarnród Éireann and Ireland’s recovery?

It is reported that there are now moves afoot to reinstate rail freight to and from Foynes.

Profitable rail freight should be travelling down the line directly from Ballina to Foynes.
