Journalists failing to take on Martin McGuiness with vital questions
McGuinness emphathically stated he had no knowledge of the the murderers, and he was asked if Sinn Féin would, out of respect to the family of Quinn, repudiate the claim that the victim was a criminal.
McGuinness replied that he would have to leave that decision “to the good people of South Armagh”.
Just one of those brilliant ripostes he’s famous for, yet no journalist, not even the interviewer, took up on it.
Maybe if it was during his unsuccessful push for the Aras?
