Christmas highlights winners and losers in banking

Christmas time is here again. 

Many Irish parents will be wondering where they will find the money to provide their children with presents.

Many old age pensioners will be wondering how they will pay the fuel bills to stay warm as winter weather sets in.

Not so the well paid Irish bankers, who having contributed to the economic collapse, yet still retain their well salaried positions, perks.

These bankers will have no problem purchasing presents — heating their homes or perhaps travelling overseas on a Christmas vacation.

And our Taoiseach said “Ireland is the best country in the world to raise a family or grow old”?
