Test case women weren’t feminists

I read with interest the report by Denise O’Donoghue in the Irish Examiner about UCC female students who wandered around pretending to be drunk to see how Irishmen would react.

Test case women weren’t feminists

They found instead of being leered at, hit on or made to feel unsafe, they met with considerate men who tried to keep them safe and return them to their friends. This shows the dangers of letting young women out on such an expedition without proper guidance. If committed feminists had been involved they would have been instructed first as to what to find. They would have found men insulting them, groping them and assaulting them. Perhaps the Women’s Council will intervene?
