Honour 1916 by enshrining water supply in Constitution

The Government is still drowning in the water charge controversy.

Honour 1916 by enshrining water supply in Constitution

People are not fooled by the supposed changes. Why did the Government not just fix the leaky pipes instead of installing meters? They are not bothered by the wastage be it wastage of water or wastage of money.

It is clear to the people that Irish Water is a vehicle to raise money to pay back the money we borrowed for the bond holders.

It is also being set up so the Government can raise funds by privatising this utility in the future. This is perhaps the greatest fear amongst the people out protesting. Perhaps the best way of commemorating the 1916 Rising would be to enshrine the protection of water supply in the constitution of a country that was so hard fought for at that time.
