A general election can’t come fast enough

€539 million is the final estimated cost of installation of water meters according to Bord Gais (now Ervia), an overspend of €107m on the original figure.

That is without a drop of water saved or lead pipe replaced. There really are no words.

Clearly the figures were seriously underestimated in the same way the Government has underestimated public feeling on the water tax.

Action is now required and by that I do not mean a sit-down protest or trapping people in cars.

The only action needed is to exercise your constitutional right and cast your vote at the ballot box because a day out at the ballots is coming faster than Fine Gael and Labour realise.
