Yet again the statement is made that now that the Newlands Cross interchange has been opened “there are no traffic lights between Dublin and Cork”.

This is both ignorant and annoying for those of us who have to tolerate delays at the Dunkettle Interchange, which is the junction of the M8 and the Jack Lynch Tunnel. It has traffic lights.
