Protests have been a long time coming

It’s wonderful to see that the people of Ireland have finally woken from their slumber. 

We have been bombarded over the last seven years with charges, levies, tax increases, cutbacks, service reductions and it goes on and on. Unfortunately so much of the austerity has been unbalanced and unfairly distributed by the powers that be.

It seems water charges and the way the issue has been handled by this inept Government has been the straw that broke the camels back.
