Big Phil is tailor made for the big bucks and the European project

The appointment of Phil Hogan as European agriculture minister is not something farmers, with a portfolio of less than one 100 acres, should be happy about.

Hill farmers have scored a small victory on commonage grazing rights, but that will be short lived. So beware, Big Phil is not a big cuddly friend of anyone who refuses to comply with his directives. Their agenda has always focused on a political and economic system where profits at all costs reign supreme. If you do not operate in the world of buying shares, big profits, big cars and the three-piece suit, your wait for an invitation to any of their corporate hoolies, will be a long one. Big Phil, who was mired in controversy over Traveller’s housing and jobs for the boys is the type of person that suits the big planners of the Euro project.

Meanwhile, we are being hung out like bait in an ever-diminishing pond, to draw in a hard-earned euro here and there to pay his bondholders.
