Scales of justice favour the wealthy

How often have we heard that comment .. “Justice is available to those who can afford it...”

Two students who engaged in an unprovoked attack which left the victim in a coma were spared jail as “jail sentences would jeopardize the future careers”.

I wonder what the victim and his family would have to say about that?
