SF flying business class sets the wrong example

For all their talk of representing ordinary working people I find Sinn Féin’s decision to fly Mary-Lou McDonald around the world in business class reeks of hypocrisy and double speak.

For a party that spends so much time posturing and engaged in manufactured indignation when it comes to the Government, they take a very different approach when it comes to their own behaviour. I will not take lectures from a party that is opposed to everything whilst taking the hard earned money of Irish emigrants to pay for luxury flights. It shows the level of hypocrisy and contempt for anyone who supported them and helped raise and or donated money to them. Let us be quite clear, the Sinn Féin view of the world, either from the business class section of an aeroplane or from a private hospital in America, is very different from the lives of most ordinary Irish people.
