Football occasion merits proper national anthem

Once again I despair at the inability of the GAA to find a singer in the whole country who knows the words of Amhrán na bhFiann to be sung before a major event like the Dublin v Donegal match on Sunday. Do they hold auditions for this prestigious honour and, if so, should they not ensure that the chosen singer can pronounce the words properly?

I am not a great singer myself but at least I would not mangle the text of our national anthem were I to have the honour of rendering it on such a huge occasion!
