Has John Bruton lost touch with reality?

Fergus Finlay is very hard on John Bruton, saying the ex-taoiseach cannot continue to ignore the reality of people’s lives. Yes he can. John Bruton is on a state pension of €134,728 per annum.

Is it any wonder he has lost all touch with reality? If not for the IFSC gig and whatever few bob he gets from his time as EU ambassador, the poor man would have to subsist on a measly €369 a day.
