Wonderful care at Mercy Hospital

I recently spent 10 days in The Mercy Hospital in St Catherine’s Ward under respiratory consultant Dr David Curran.

He and his wonderful team, registrar Dr Fitzgerald and the rest, got me back to almost full health, for which I want to thank them most sincerely.

The ward sisters, staff nurses and ward attendants looked after me very well, thanks to all. The kitchen staff with Mary and her assistants who fed me very well — too well, the food was superb — thanks to you as well. You are all in my prayers. Hospitals have a bad name a lot of the time so its nice to praise them once in a while. The Mercy is a wonderful hospital. Long may it serve the people of Cork and beyond.
