Climate change — so what’s new?

Adherents of the hypothesis that emissions of CO2 arising from the combustion of fossil fuels will cause catastrophic climate change call those that question their beliefs "climate change deniers" and allege that such "denial" is an example of belief based on faith rather than logic.

Climate change — so what’s new?

However the scientific evidence is incontrovertible that climate change has occurred on all time scales for at least 3.5 billion years of earth’s history without any human intervention.

Those who believe mankind is now the prime causative agency of climate change and is in a position to “manage” the earth’s climate by restricting the use of fossil fuels are as guilty of “climate change denial” as those who can find no credible scientific support for the proposition that mankind is either culpable or capable of changing the earth’s climate.
