Enda the truth bender and a Mr Whiter-Than-White

ENDA Kenny’s a liar — well, that is what one of his own Ministers is effectively saying anyway.

The Taoiseach has repeatedly told the Dáil he did not fire former Garda commissioner Martin Callinan, or look to fire him, but junior Health Minister Alex White insists Mr Kenny did fire the commissioner.

Mr White, who also just so happens to be running for the Labour leadership, is effectively calling the Taoiseach a liar, and therefore accusing him of having lied to parliament. Few things are more serious for a Taoiseach than lying to the Dáil — indeed, it is an automatic resigning matter.
