Unfair criticism of Aer Lingus cabin crew

I was disgusted by the two-line comment published in the Irish Examiner (June 3) regarding Aer Lingus cabin crew ("Aer Lingus should now give their cabin crew 365 non-paid days off").

The writer obviously doesn’t understand the problems that cabin crew have at present, and have had over the past number of years.

Through their unions I trust they will get justice in their very demanding jobs.

And also, as disclosed the other day, Aer Lingus daringly want to deny cabin crew of some privileges they have had. Furthermore a deduction of one day’s pay is also proposed from those who went on strike.

And to you Ryanair Michael O’Leary, might I say, refrain from your comments on Aer Lingus and concentrate on your racehorses.
