Labour ‘dismantling our Catholicism’

Following the near annihilation of the Labour Party and the substantial losses suffered by Fine Gael in the recent elections we have heard commentator after commentator on the national media identify water charges, stealth taxes, medical cards, etc, as the reasons for the collapse.

Labour ‘dismantling our Catholicism’

None of the national media have identified the “elephant in the room” i.e. the blatant attack on Irish Catholicism by the Labour Party acquiesced by a morally defunct Fine Gael who are happy to sit back and allow a few self confessed atheists, who are leading the Labour Party, to singlehandedly dismantle Irish Catholicism.

I am an Irish Catholic and am very proud of it.

Labour, who hold less than 8% of the share of the national vote, are attempting by stealth to dismantle our Irish Catholic culture ably acquiesced by fine gael.

The Labour Party has made no secret of its liberal abortion views and as a member of this government has brought in legislation which will permit the termination of perfectly healthy pregnancies to physically healthy women at any time during the none months of pregnancy from conception right up until the birth of the baby.

The Labour Party has ensured that Wexford General Hospital will be one of the “approved Institutions” in which these heinous terminations will be carried out in the same maternity units where every effort will be made to take medically difficult pregnancies to their full term to give the child the best possible outcome.

This is alien to Irish Catholicism and to basic human rights.

Labour closed the Irish embassy to the Vatican for their atheistically ideological reasons. They then realised how ill-thought out that decision was and has had do an about turn and re-open it again.

The Labour Party foreign minister has failed on almost every occasion to speak out against horrendous atrocities committed against the Christian community throughout the world. Boco Harem has been killing Christians in north east Nigeria for years before they have been eventually criticised for the recent inhuman abduction of over 200 school girls.

There are a number of people in India, Pakistan under death sentences for blasphemy against Islam.

“The human rights Issue of our time” is ‘same sex marriage’, according to Eamon Gilmore in a radio interview he gave a few months ago. Some would have thought that the starving millions throughout the world, or the lack of clean drinking water, or the number of curable diseases, or the horrendous death rate of children throughout the world might have a higher priority, but not according to the Irish Labour Party.

The most recent Irish census figures indicate that 84% of those who responded put down as their religion Catholicism. Who would have thought that looking at the Labour programme?

We, the Irish people, in my opinion, have spoken out and have shown that we have had enough of this atheistic Labour Party ideology, ably assisted by Fine Gael, being foisted upon us by stealth and by a very small number of atheists whose party now holds less than 8% popular support.

This may not have been the main reason for the collapse but it has played a significant role which the national media are happy to ignore.
