As the summer approaches, I encourage readers to be ever-vigilant of the once migratory species, ‘The Yellow Reg’.

For years, this motorised being was a rare sight, concentrated here around the middle of July.

However, nowadays our southern-based Revenue ‘rangers’ have become lax in gathering the VRT due on this cross-border migratory species, preferring to nibble away the hard-earned corn pile of the middle classes of Eire.
