New Titanic theme park will elevate Cobh’s status as a tourism centre

Last Friday, April 11, marked the opening of the Titanic theme park in Cobh, in remembrance of all those who lost their lives during the sinking of the Titanic on April 12, 1912.

This theme park, with its glass-wall design, will develop Cobh into one of the prominent tourist towns in the country.

It was great to see a large turnout there of townspeople, dignitaries, political representatives, and marine, naval service and Port of Cork personnel.
