Maybe Dáil should sit during religious feasts

Ruairi Quinn states that the removal of the teaching of the Catholic religion from school will help those parents who hypocritically baptise children for school.

Maybe Dáil should sit during religious feasts

Isn’t it a bit more hypocritical of him to be celebrating the feast day of the person who introduced the Catholic faith into Ireland by travelling abroad?

Is it possible he will don some shamrock, a Catholic symbol?

Perhaps he should practise what he “preaches”.

Would the Dáil be the next place from which religion will be removed, if he had his way?

Then maybe the Irish people will be saved the cost of the junkets which are taken by government ministers, be they from whatever political party.

If so, then maybe it will remain open over Christmas and Easter, occasions which traditionally have a Christian theme.
