With reference to the proposed standardised packaging bill, I believe such a bill will further deepen the illicit tobacco crisis.

Following on from reports earlier this week that Customs are now only seizing one in every twenty-five cigarettes smuggled into this country, introducing plain packaging will only further weaken the war on tobacco smuggling.
