Are we an Eirgrid experiment?

While pondering the current situation in relation to Eirgrid, I came to the following conclusion.

EirGrid are embarking on a huge scale study of the health effects of EMF, (Electromagnetic Fields), from high voltage power lines to finally put an end to the worldwide argument and using the population of Ireland as guinea pigs.

My reasoning is as follows:
